Winter Sunsets and Scenes 2011
Here are some sunsets and scenes from over the past month or so. I’ve blogged before on how great winter sunsets are… vivid colors, icy water, and desolation. I hope you enjoy (click them to enlarge).
_New Work
I’ve been shooting a lot lately, and I’m happy to share with you some fresh work of mine. The idea was simple — go out with some friends with one goal in mind, and that’s to create some art that I don’t normally make, but would like to make more of.
My point here, is that this shoot was self made, and costed me nothing more than $2.67 for 2 cups of coffee at my local Wawa for the early morning shoot at sunrise.
All it really took was some vision.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. This is the busiest I’ve ever been. I am out shooting at events every single day, and couldn’t be happier.

JUSTINCHANDO WALLPAPER SERIES: JUNE 2010
I’m going to try and start to give away a nice free image each month for you to use for your desktop wallpaper… They really won’t be anything from my portfolio but more of the images from my personal work. An image can be made anywhere. There are at least 10 interesting pictures wherever you are right now. This happened to be at the end of my dock just the other day.

SUMMER IS NEAR
I’m so excited for this summer. I’ve been out on my boat a bunch of times now. I thought I would share these images with you. I took these this past week. I’ve been trying to shoot more and more as the weather gets nicer.

I’ve been sailing most of my life, and this is one of my favorite sailing moments ever. Honestly, there’s nothing better than sailing in the ocean with a great amount of wind, in a paradise land, and I’m happy to share this amazing moment with all of you.
NIGHT SNOWBOARDING PHOTO SEQUENCES
In honor of the winter olympics, I went out and shot some snowboarding. Fun times. I can’t wait for summer, but the snow can also be fun. I’ve been having a good time setting up some sequences when my friends are snowboarding, and I hope I can actually get out to a mountain soon. But, really, it’s time for it to get warmer, or maybe it’s just time to go on a nice vacation?

WINTER SUNSETS
Winter sunsets are the best. You can’t beat them. In the summer there is just too much humidity, and the clouds never form as nicely. I enjoy shooting sunsets for no reason at all other than to be outside and near the water with a camera in my hand (or on a tripod). What’s cool is that it’s a rare opportunity to see the bay iced over. These are all from the past couple weeks. The images on my new blog are big enough to make for a nice desktop background… so have at it!
